Privacy policy
How personal data is handled when you visit this site or book a demo. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 apply.
Controller
- Controller: registered name missing
- Tax ID: tax ID missing
- Registered address: registered address missing
- Email to exercise your rights: contact email missing
What is collected and why
- Demo booking: name, email address and, if you give them, phone number and business name. Purpose: to agree the appointment and deal with you. Cal.com collects them in its form.
- WhatsApp contact: your phone number and the content of the messages you send. Purpose: to reply and, if you go ahead, to prepare the proposal.
- Browsing: this site carries no analytics and no third party pixels. The hosting server logs the IP address and the browser for security and fault finding.
There is no automated decision making with legal effects on you, and no profiling.
Legal basis
- Demo booking and contact: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
- Server logs: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available (Article 6.1.f).
How long it is kept
Contact details are kept for as long as the commercial relationship lasts and afterwards for as long as legal duties require (tax and accounting, for instance). If the conversation goes nowhere, they are deleted within twelve months at most.
Who it is shared with
Data is never sold or passed on for advertising. The following act as processors or as necessary providers:
- Cal.com, to handle the appointment booking.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., if you get in touch over WhatsApp.
- The web hosting provider and the email provider.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or on an adequacy decision.
Your own customers' data
When EXOBYTE is installed in a business, that business's customer data belongs to the business: the business is the controller and EXOBYTE acts as processor. That relationship is signed off in a data processing agreement before anything starts, covering security measures, duration and the return or deletion of the data at the end.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to contact email missing, saying which right you are exercising. If you think you have not been dealt with properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
